Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

On Friday, November 16th, Tory Burch will host a special one-day only sale event at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Entry costs $40, but here's why: 100% of profits will benefit the Tory Burch Foundation, which supports women entrepreneurs. The sale begins at 11am, but if you want to slip in before anyone else, you can purchase Early Bird Admission for $60.

For a look at a few items that will be there, click through the gallery above. Included are a classic pair of black riding boots, and two dresses you can wear to just about holiday party that might come up within the next few months. To purchase tickets, head here.

Update: The name of the sale has been changed to Fashion for Sandy Relief, and it will now include an extensive list of designers marked down up to 50% off. For additional information, see the updated dealfeed.
