The Target x Neiman Marcus holiday collaboration officially launches in stores and online this Saturday, but New Yorkers got a sneak peek at the collection today at the one-day only pop-up shop at 530 Fifth Avenue.
Overall, there's a little something for everyone on your list, whether they'd prefer a few cheeky Band of Outsider's cookie cutters ($29.99) or an elegant Robert Rodriguez party dress ($99). The crowd today was are surprisingly and pleasantly modest—which was either due to collaboration fatigue, or because gingerbread cookies and cups of hot cocoa were being served. When we got there, there was a quick moving line of about forty people, but on the way out, there was no queue whatsoever.
And now, onto the merchandise: The Alice + Olivia bike is going for a steep $499, but worth it if you or one of your loved ones prefer peddling in style.
Other hits include the very fun lunch box ($19.99) and matching thermos ($29.99) from Tory Burch, Marchesa dresses for girls in two different designs priced from $79 to $99, a leather dog collar and leash set from Oscar De La Renta for $39.99, and a very hip Derek Lam 31'' skateboard for $99.99.
Most shoppers were gravitating toward the dapper Thom Browne men's blazer for $149, Brain Atwood embellished leather gloves for $49.99, and a black cape by Prabal Gurung for just $79.
However, there were other items that were going even faster. By 1pm this afternoon, they were already sold out of the Proenza Scheuler sweaters and the Tracy Reese plates. Smaller sizes were dwindling in the Rag & Bone's men's sweaters.
For a look at the entire collection, head on over to our sister site. If you missed the pop-up today, stop by your local Target (or Neiman Marcus, if you're outside of New York City) on Saturday.—Talia Aroshas
