Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

UPPER EAST SIDE—If you've got the cash to spend, consider shopping on Madison Avenue this Saturday. More than sixty stores, including Gucci, Alice + Olivia, Missoni, and Bottega Veneta, will donate 20% of their gross profits (up to $15,000 each) to the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's Pediatric Family Housing initiative. The event is called Miracle on Madison Avenue, and you can see the full list of participating stores here. [DNAinfo]

WEST VILLAGE—Here's one more holiday pop-up shop to add to your weekend radar. From 10am to 10pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday, the Textile Arts Center will host a sale featuring a handful of independent designers, such as Cold Picnic, Dunsen Dunsen, Alexandra Grecco, Thomas IV, and more. At the holiday soiree, which is from 6pm to 10pm on Saturday, Brooklyn Brewery beer will be served, along with snacks from Ovenly. [RackedWire]
