What You'll Be Able to Buy at Next Week's Helmut Lang Sale

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Helmut Lang's sample sale kicks off this Sunday, December 2nd at Clothing Line in the Garment District. The merch—all women's—is discounted up to 60%, which makes dresses $145 and blazers $345. You'll also be able to pick up some styes of those celebrated leather jackets for $475. Check out some highlights in the slideshow above.

How crowded should you expected the sale to be? Well, this summer, things were relatively quiet at the Clothing Line blow-out in July, but we found long lines at the Chelsea Market sale in May. Since this is the first Helmut Lang sale in a while, and since it starts on a weekend, you can bet Sunday's going to be a bit of a mob scene.
