2 Penn Plaza, the former home of Borders, is still waiting for a permanent tenant, but in the meantime, it's getting something that's sure to cause significantly more pre-teen congestion outside Penn Station. That would be a pop-up shop dedicated to the boy band One Direction, which is set to open tomorrow. It's called 1D World, and if you're familiar with the size of that Borders and convinced they couldn't possibly fill it solely with One Direction merchandise, think again.
MTV Buzzworthy stopped by, and writes that the pop-up sells everything from iPod covers to cardboard cutouts of the band to Zayn press-on nails. (Zayn being one of the members and, according to this Google image search result, potentially The Hot One.) Lastly, the store also sells an adult-size onesie that you can "zip your entire body and even your entire head into."
