Last night, Sarah Jessica Parker and Minnie Mouse helped unveil the Disney-themed windows at Barneys. Like last year's Lady Gaga extravaganza, the holiday display encompasses much more than just window dressing.

First off, there's the video, a five-minute Disney clip that's already drawn fire for putting Minnie on a radical diet. The moment where she shape-shifts is indeed jarring, though to be fair, it encompasses barely two seconds of an otherwise very warm-and-fuzzy homage to the fashion industry's major personalities.

Barneys and Disney have also teamed up on a a collection of gifts. Those range from $28 ornaments to $250 Mickey figurines designed in collaboration with Paul Smith and Diane von Furstenberg. Does your pet need $25 Electric Holiday dog biscuits? Probably not, but at least 25% of the retail price will go to Red Cross disaster relief. Same goes for every piece in the collection, including the requisite mouse ears.
