For this week's Critical Shopper, Ruth La Ferla steps in to assess Brian Atwood on Madison Avenue. Of the interior, she writes: "The display is impeccable but disorienting, all that bling a little vertigo-inducing. I steadied myself, tempted at first just to go with Mr. Atwood's febrile vision." That led to trying on a pair of $1,700 zebra-and-Dalmatian patterned sandals, but not the python boots "that seemed to have been fashioned for a brazen second self who whiles away the night hours glued to RuPaul's Drag Race."
