In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Lucky Magazine has decided to reschedule Lucky Shops, which was supposed to begin tonight and run through Saturday. The magazine's VP and Publisher, Marcy Bloom, explained: "The safety of everyone is our first priority and our thoughts are with those affected, which is why we feel it is necessary to postpone Lucky Shops."
The sale will now begin on December 6th through the 8th, at the same location at 82 Mercer Street. Portions of the proceeds from the first night's charity shopping event will still go to the Julian D. King Gift Foundation, but the sale will also include an additional charitable element called the Lucky Fund, which will benefit those in need of hurricane relief.
