Just in case you need another Met fashion exhibit to look forward to, here it is. The museum has teamed up with the Art Institute of Chicago on Impressionism and Fashion, which will examine "the depiction of contemporary dress in paintings and portraiture in the second half of the 19th century." It's first stop is Paris, and then it's headed stateside. Quite a contrast to this, no? [NYT]
