Most of the city's major department stores—Saks, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdale's—are still closed this afternoon, but not the Barneys flagship. A few hours ago, the store announced via Twitter that the Madison Avenue location was back in business, and a message on the Barneys homepage confirms that doors are indeed open. Two questions: Who's shopping? And do the employees at least get some kind of special compensation?
