Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Soula on Smith Street carries an earthy but trendy assortment of footwear that's perfect for Cobble Hill—everything from Birkenstock to Belle by Sigerson Morrison, from Clarks to Camper to Chie Mihara. The store used to have a second location in Park Slope, but as of last week they've expanded into a slightly different Brooklyn market, opening on the growing shopping strip of N.3rd Street in Williamsburg.

From what we've seen, the merchandise is roughly the same, making this an ideal destination for 'Burg residents whose tastes and budgets are starting to outgrow the neighborhood's endless supply of vintage heels. Click through the gallery above for some nice panorama shots of the store—the small version doesn't really do it justice.
