Back in April, the French brand Equipment announced its first U.S. location by placing coming-soon signage along a Soho storefront. A few months later, things appear to be at a standstill: The advertisement on the facade at 110 Wooster Street still reads "Opening Summer 2012," which, well, didn't happen.
Currently, the space looks more like a construction site than a store, since the walls are bare and the floor still has a long way to go. Though we're hoping for a mid-fall, early-winter opening, it's possible that all of the shop's silky blouses might not see the light of day for a while.—Kelly Marshall
