Jon Caramanica sounds less than impressed with Benetton's Soho pop-up in this week's Critical Shopper. Of the brightly colored but wearable knitwear, he writes, "This is a whimsical concept from a distance, but up close, the choices were lazy and occasionally garish." And while the shop's x-rated art may have earned it some extra media attention, it "has the ultimate effect of making the sweaters arrayed around them look rather dull." [NYT; Previously]
