The plan for Victoria's Secret new massive Herald Square makeover is finally complete. In December of last year, the Post reported that the store would acquire an additional 30,000 square feet to its Broadway store. It temporarily relocated to the lower level of the Manhattan Mall in April for preparation, and now, as of this week, the doors have reopened.
Fashion Herald stopped by to check out the new space, and among other things, writes that there is now a beauty department on every floor. The first floor houses cosmetics and fragrances, and body products take up space on the lower level and second floor. It will now be nearly impossible to escape the smell of the Very Sexy fragrance.
Other tidbits to consider: The Pink collection now has its own entrance, so if neon sweatpants are what you're after you can just beeline it straight to those. In addition to housing bras and underwear, the upper level now stocks a special New York City collection. And, just in case you want to be reminded of what Miranda Kerr looks like in lingerie over and over again, there are video screens projecting images of Victoria's Secret angels throughout the store.
