On Friday, Snag Wedding Gowns for Under $1,000 at Loehmann's

Running of the Brides may be long gone, but that doesn't mean engaged women in New York City can't still swing a wedding gown for under $1,000. On Friday, Loehmann's will host its "Grab the Gown" bridal event, where dresses that normally run up to $11,000 will all be priced at a grand and under.

The one-day sale will include dresses from Allure Bridal, Bellisima, Casa Mia, Christina Wu, Demetrios, and more, on the third floor of the Chelsea flagship. Doors open bright and early at 7am, and from 9am to 11am, celebrity wedding planner and My Fair Wedding: Unveiled host David Tutera will be available for meet and greets—that is, if brides-to-be are willing to part with racks and racks of gowns long enough to say hello.
