There's a Red Wing shoe store in Sunnyside and another one in Hackensack, but if you're looking for a more centrally located destination for the classic all-American boot, then you're in luck. Starting this Thursday, Red Wing representatives will be showing off the entire Heritage collection at Brooks Brothers stores around the country, including the one in the Flatiron District.
The trunk shows are a throwback to Red Wing in the 1920s, when the company's traveling salesmen, known as "Shoe Dogs," would personally introduce the brand to customers. It's been decades since fans could shop the full Heritage collection in one place with help from a Red Wing rep, but that's exactly what Brooks Brothers plans to offer. They'll also be selling a limited-edition collaboration boot known as the 4553 (see above). Find the shoes and shoe dogs alike at 901 Broadway from Thursday, October 11th through Saturday, October 13th between 10am and 8pm, and on Sunday, October 14th between 11am and 7pm.
