The Cut reports that an enormous inflatable union rat has appeared outside the Sephora in Union Square. The rat, whose name is Scabbie, is there to alert shoppers to the fact that Sephora has hired non-union laborers for their extensive renovation project. Without union protection, the workers aren't entitled to bathroom breaks, let alone, like, free samples. [The Cut]
