It turns out that one of the people who was outbid at the Elizabeth Taylor auction at Christie's was Cynthia Rowley. She was hoping to snag Taylor's wedding bands, which ended up going for over $1 million. She explains: "I was on the phone when the lot came up, and I was bidding from my office, and I, you know, had my limit. Let's just say it went for, uh, ten times what I was willing to pay." [The Cut]
