Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Apparently, a ticket to Couture Fashion Week, which has no affiliation with the actual New York Fashion Week, costs $5,000. If you didn't know that such a thing exists, neither did we, but Fashionista reports that it's a three-day event that takes place at the Waldorf Astoria in mid February, showcasing designers who you most likely haven't heard of. If interested, you can learn all about it on their website. [Fashionista]
