This week, Alexandra Jacobs heads to the women's Bottega Veneta store on Madison Avenue to check out the resort collection. She found that Bottega's creative director Thomas Maier is "currently color-blocking more than a kindergartner on Ritalin," as demonstrated in his hot-pink version of the Lido bag. She also spotted the store's soundtrack, "Intreccio Uno," for sale at the cash register for $45—"a tad Starbucks, no?" [NYT]
