Though the wedding-friendly months of May and June are pretty far away, Brooklyn is gearing up for the season with wedding expos. In March, Brooklyn Based will hold its third-annual Wedding Fair in The Green Building at 452 Union Street, complete with an afterparty and a wedding band showcase at the Bell House.

But first, Borough Hall will host Brooklyn's first-ever LGBT Wedding Expo, with over 75 different business on hand to help out with booking a DJ, honeymoon packages, and finding an "alternative family" lawyer. The Brooklyn Paper adds that Sposabella wedding boutique will also be there, as well as various photographers, and most importantly, bakeries. It all kicks off this Sunday, January 15, at 10am.
