J.Crew Menswear Is Moving into the Home of Crewcuts Tribeca

You'd think that a J.Crew children's store in baby-crazed Tribeca would be a neighborhood fixture, but barely a year after opening on Hudson Street, the downtown Crewcuts is turning into a J.Crew men's store. Tribeca Citizen reflects that this is probably a good move, as counter-intuitive as it might seem, because Tribeca is flooded with kids' stores but still relatively lacking in places for men to shop. As for J.Crew's famous all-male Liquor Store, that space will remain open, but its suiting section might move over to the new location.
