This Is What the Daffy's Time Square Peep Show Looks Like

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

If you have yet to swing by the recently-opened Daffy's in Times Square to check out the store's virtual peep show, here's video proof that this stunt is really and truly happening. Earlier images of the windows gave the impression that the model—who removes her clothing to 20% off, 40% off, 80% off, etc.—would look kind of CGI, but it turns out that she actually looks like a full-fledged, real-life stripper.

The peep show is activated by placing your hand on an indicated spot on the window, so you don't need to show up with a quarter. We won't spoil the ending, but let's just say that 80% off is one hell of a discount.
