While we overheard some guests of Opening Ceremony's Fashion's Night Out party expressing confusion as to whether it was the actual opening ceremony to fashion week, the majority of last night's attendees were devout and enamored followers of the brand and its dozen-plus collaborators.

Opening Ceremony's party at The Ace Hotel featured an external street carnival with booths from Jansport, Havaianas, Gitman Bros, Keds, and Alexander Wang to name a few. These booths included games of everything from skee ball to "Drown the Clown" as well as some food vendors like Mr. Softee The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck and Breslin. There was also a brief appearance from a "Get Your Freak On" dance crew. This was all a wonderful source of entertainment for the three-block long line, which featured an approximate wait time of an hour and 20 minutes.

The interior of last night's event kept the carnival theme alive with cotton candy and Belvedere snow cones as well as many, many vendors. Rodarte was offering limited-edition t-shirts next to Band of Outsiders, who sold character drawings on special-edition canvas totes reading "I went to Band of Outsiders' thing at Fashion's Night Out, and all I got was this friggin' awesome tote bag."

Additionally, the OC collaboration with The Muppets was launched at the party. The new line included oxfords, t-shirts, and sweaters with the Muppets' main characters. The most fashionable Muppet of them all, Miss Piggy was the party's guest of honor. She was personally introduced by founders Carol Lim and Humberto Leon late in the evening, and provoked into dishing on Kermit, her career, the upcoming film and French Vogue.

Other notable guests included director Spike Jonze, who modestly professed his love to the taken guest of honor, and a riot-inducing lip-syncher to "Don't Cry for Me Argentina."—Payton Wang
