Mulberry's third and largest New York store opened up on Tuesday at 134 Spring Street, and WWD whimsically describes it as a "bright, airy space decorated with white pillars, dark reclaimed wood flooring, and high, original tin ceilings." Also inside: 8,000 hardcover books, which serve as a throwback to the building's former function: a printer and bookstore.
The massive library creates a "folly," which WWD explains is "a small area enclosed by a curved wall of books that ensconces Mulberry's shoe collection." The store is also the first location in the U.S. to stock all of Mulberry's offerings under one roof, which includes ready-to-wear, handbags, accessories, luggage, and shoes, and of course, it'll all be celebrated with a party during Fashion Week.
