Three years ago, Bergdorf Goodman was the first store to open a Tom Ford men's shop-in-shop, and they weren't about to let the momentum of such firsts die down. WWD reports that Bergdorf has now opened a women's Tom Ford shop-in-shop, right across the way and dangerously close to the shoe department.
Inside, the space is described as "crisp," "modern," and of course, "sumptuous," with accessories displayed in "sparkling chrome and mirrored vitrines" and eveningwear stocked in Macassar ebony wood wardrobes. And of course, there's a sofa for lounging and a marble table for writing big fat checks. The only other spot in the city where you can buy Tom Ford's womenswear is the Madison Avenue flagship, so if you're looking for that $18,508 dyed goat hair jacket, Bergdorf's is now also an option for that.
