Hurricane Irene is still wreaking havoc on Fashion Week, as some materials from overseas aren't arriving on time. Cathy Horyn met up with Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler, who said that they sent an intern to Italy to pick up some fabric. Sadly though, it was handed to her inside of the airport before she boarded again for New York. Still, Hernandez said, "She thought it was so glamorous to fly to Italy." [NYT]
