In case there was any doubt, the fur tail trend is still alive and well. But it's been reincarnated: Louis Vuitton and Williamsburg hipsters clipped fur tassels to their bags, but now some are clipping them to their butts. TheVacillator muses on why one would do such a thing, and equates that perhaps it goes back to embracing the uncool, to be cool. "A tail may seem lightyears away from grandma chic, but in fact it's derivative. A fur stole is for crotchety Upper-East-Siders, but a fur tail is for the common man." Also, she adds, it's the attention factor. [TheVacillator]
