Lady Gaga filed a lawsuit yesterday at the Manhattan Supreme Court against a company that's trying to trademark the name "Lady Gaga by Design." According to the suit, Excite Worldwide is trying to use the name to sell a line of cosmetics and jewelry, to which Gaga's camp says would create "confusion" in the marketplace. The Post adds: "The suit seeks a court order barring Excite from filing Gaga-related applications and unspecified money damages." [NYP]
