Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Online curiosity shop Hickoree's Hard Goods sells menswear, tote bags, baseballs, butcher aprons—basically, it's a one-stop birthday present destination for guys who like well-designed tchotchkes. Four days ago, the brand opened a store in South Williamsburg, on the second floor of the building that houses their office. Blog Secret Forts reports that the space houses both Hickoree's classics, like "GIANT doorstops," and new, not-yet-online products like parks, tents, and wool hats.
