Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
UPPER WEST SIDE—High-end resale vintage shop Second Time Around is now open on the Upper West Side, though don't try calling them yet—the phone isn't exactly in service. A staffer over at the Chelsea location informs us that the store is up and running, and we guess maybe they're just too busy to deal with the phone situation since they've been working on a show for Bravo. PARK SLOPE—The Brooklyn Arts Exchange is throwing a "Super Stoop Sale" on October 15-16, but before that gets underway, they're asking for donations. They're looking for pretty much everything: clothes, household items, DVDs, furniture, etc., so if you've got a lot of extra stuff, let them know by October 9 and they'll gladly take it off your hands. To arrange for a drop-off time, email firstname.lastname@example.org. [Brokelyn]
