This time around, Brooklyn's annual fall street fair The Atlantic Antic is getting some support from cool-hunting businesses outside the borough. Uniqlo continues its tour of local festivals with two pop-ups, one on Court Street and one on Third Avenue. And Yelp will operate a lounge with games like "pin the skinny jeans on the hipster," which should be a big hit with the Middle Eastern grandmothers of Atlantic Avenue.
Explains Sasha Mercedes, who works for the firm that produces the fair, "We try to keep Brooklyn fresh and in the scene." It won't all be Cheap Monday and cheap cashmere, though: Look for vintage buses from the Transit Museum, pony rides for kids, and every kind of fried food you can possibly imagine.
