Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
All afternoon, groups of women wearing Diane von Furstenberg wrap dresses have been marching around the city to promote Diane, the label's new fragrance. While the majority of DVF's print army has conquered Times Square, smaller infantries have stormed Soho, Union Square, the Meatpacking District, and the Bowery, where they chanted "DVF! DVF! DVF!" outside Racked HQ. (Check out the video after the jump.)
Along the way, the ladies are distributing scented ribbons and offering customers the chance to win a free bottle. The madness all comes to a head in front of the 59th Street Bloomingdale's at 5:30pm, where the mobs will converge for a mega-mob performance.
