For the past two years, Brooks Brothers womenswear has been in a temporary location next to its Madison Avenue flagship while renovations were going down, but now WWD reports that its come back home. The women's collection now resides in the newly-revamped, 8,000-square-foot second floor, in the area that was previously the spot for men's sportswear. Located alongside the women's department is also a children's collection, and a "smattering of home merchandise."
The new second floor marks the debut of the Brooks Brothers University collection for women, "a younger, slimmer-fit sportswear line," and is also the first time the home collection has been sold in stores as opposed to only online. As a whole, the Brooks Brothers flagship is in the midst of a "multiyear" renovation project, which back in March, included adding a full-scale PGA golf simulator to the men's sportswear department on the third floor—a pretty different vibe compared to the Flatiron location, which has vintage video games and WiFi.
