Orla Kiely—an Irish-born designer currently based out of London—will be opening up a store at 5 Mercer Street come mid-October, across the way from agnès b. and just a quick hop from other, relatable shops like Opening Ceremony. WWD reports that the boutique will house Kiely's ready-to-wear along with a home collection.
If you're not too familiar with the brand, think lots of rust colors for fall, along with belted coats, long-sleeved shifts, and necklines adhered with a bow. Spring's presentation saw more of the same, which isn't a bad thing when the same is cute Peter Pan collars and frocks straight out of the '50s. In addition to her own store, Kiely is also putting together a capsule collection for Uniqlo, which will debut in March.
