Anyone suffering from megalophobia—the fear of oversized objects—would have been deeply uncomfortable outside The Standard Hotel this weekend. Since June, the plaza in front of the hotel has played host to "Companion (Passing Through)," a sculpture by the graffiti artist KAWS. On Saturday, the Companion was joined by Marina, the 25-foot blogger doll that's traveling around town to promote Target's Missoni collection. The two giants didn't appear to make friends, though: The Companion kept his head in his hands in a posture of shame, while Marina was busy Tweeting.
