On Saturday August 13, Lord & Taylor is hosting its first-ever Bridal Blowout Sale, with wedding gowns starting at $99 and bridesmaids dresses starting at an even-cheaper $59. The sale runs from 8am to 1pm, with a little note attached that says: "Unless we sell out sooner!" Gowns will be on hand from designers such as A.B.S. By Allen Schwartz, Celebrations David Tutera by Faviana, and Lord & Taylor exclusive gowns. But the real question is: Will it be anything like the Filene's Basement bridal sale?
There's an entire list of rules under the event description on Lord & Taylor's website, including that guests will be brought into the sale in groups of no more than 30, you need a wristband to get in, and the fitting room is communal. To RSVP (yep, it's serious) send an email to email@example.com. And while you're at the sale, you can register to win a $500 Lord & Taylor shopping spree, but of course, discounted wedding gowns are not included.
