What do average New Yorkers think of Kate Middleton–style fascinators? The Cut took to the Lower East Side with lavish fascinators attached to see just what everyday, non-English folk think of the elaborate hats. Reactions included comments such as: "That one looks like a nipple tassle," "It's kind of like a bellybutton ring for your head, right?" and the very on-point, "Everybody's talkin' about fuckin' hats now."
