Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
EAST VILLAGE—Not only did the president of Kiehl's lead a parade of 150 celebrities and motorcycle enthusiasts through the East Village this Saturday, but he also presided over a mini Saved by the Bell reunion once he arrived. One of those bikers: Mark-Paul Gosselaar. There to cheer him on at the finish line: Tiffani Thiessen. The event didn't just bring Zack and Kelly together in the name of skin cream—it also raised $100,000 for amFAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research. [Racked Inbox]
MIDTOWN—Stella McCartney's friends-and-family sample sale begins tomorrow. Now, this sale is not open to the public—you have to be invited, and invitations are non-transferable. But as Mizhattan points out, a Racked operative was able to enter last year on the second day. The sale runs 10am to 8pm tomorrow and Wednesday at the Flatotel. Do with this information what you will. [Mizhattan]
