J.Crew Joins the Lineup at Lincoln Center This Fall

Yesterday, the organizers of this fall's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week sent around a preliminary lineup of designs who will be showing at Lincoln Center this fall. The long list of names includes standbys like DVF, Tommy Hilfiger, and Michael Kors, but it also contains nine labels that have never shown at Lincoln Center before, and among those is J.Crew.

J.Crew has been on a high-fashion tear recently. As ThreadNY notes, their fall 2011 presentation in March "felt exactly like any presentation one might see during Fashion Week." The brand is also a partner in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, which means they're working with established figures in the industry as well as promoting up-and-comers. Given their solid fan base among Fashion Week attendees, we're guessing their Lincoln Center audience will probably be packed.
