SOHO—There are so many reasons why this week should be bad for shopping events: It's coming before a holiday weekend, just shy of Fashion Week, in a month not known for its sample sales. Yet anyone who wants to spend money right now actually has some pretty great options. One of them takes place tomorrow, 11am to 8pm, at the Soho Grand, where a group of vintage vendors is selling over a thousand items. Merchandise includes day dresses, cocktail dresses, coats, scarves, Bakelite, shoes, slips; labels include DVF, Cacahrel, and Ferragamo; and decades include everything from the 1950s to the 1980s. Best of all, about half the pieces are priced under $50. Called La Vie Ann Rose Vintage Sale, the event takes place in the Soho Grand Harbor Room at 310 West Broadway. [Racked Inbox]

UPPER EAST SIDE—Famed French house of macarons Maison Ladurée was supposed to debut on Madison Avenue this morning, but the hurricane got in the way. Instead, look out for a grand opening tomorrow at 9am. [Eater NY]
