Last night at Macy's in Herald Square, tennis star and all around beefcake Rafael Nadal debuted his latest ad for Armani Jeans to a horde of 400-plus fans, many of whom were "cellphone snapping admirers" of the hot-and-bothered female variety. In case you're not familiar with what Nadal looks like and why there was so much hoopla, his ad for Armani Underwear can be seen here.
WWD poetically describes the scene like this: "The 10-time Grand Slam winner smiled broadly throughout the meet-and-greet, lowering his head ever so slightly as some 400 fans chanted, 'Rafa, Rafa.'" They report that Nadal was wearing Armani Jeans and a gray polo shirt, and that naturally, "some were disappointed he kept his shirt on."
