New York-based brand Honor by Giovanna Randall is throwing a sample sale, and Sugar Rock Catwalk headed over there last night to take a look around. One thing's for sure: Full-priced honor goods aren't cheap, but luckily, prices have been slashed up to 75% off, meaning that a once-$2,800 silk crepe maxi dress is now $400. Okay, so getting better.
If that still sounds a little high, consider this: Runway shoes from Dolce Vita, Repetto, and Doro are $50 a pop (but are only stocked in runway sizes of 8 through 10 1/2), some knit tops are only $30, and belts are $25. Plus, there are giant bow accessories that you can wear on your shoulder, or wherever else you might want, ranging from $50-$95. Oh, and the $95 one comes with a leather holster.
As far as the rest of the ready to wear goes, they found a silk crepe lace dress for $195, a draped oversized silk blouse for $150, and silk jersey tanks for $30. But most importantly, they stumbled upon this bit of information about the discounts: "As of tomorrow morning they will be even further slashed from sample sale pricing! There are a few other items that will be reduced to 50% off the indicated original sample sale prices." The sale ends tomorrow; check out the rest of the details here.
