New York City has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around our fantastic city that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Once September 8th hits, all eyes of the fashion world will be directed towards the runways (and streets) of Manhattan for New York Fashion Week. Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, the woman in charge of fashion direction at Lincoln Center is going to be one busy lady, running around town in her Prada, Chanel, or Miu Miu heels. To keep from adding a slew of additional scuff marks, she goes to Leather Spa, the only establishment on this island she trusts with favorite accessories.

As Director of Fashion at Lincoln Center, I function as an industry-wide Switzerland. Lucky for me, the roster of American talent is so perennially lust-worthy, that I have no urge to play sartorial favorites. However, when it comes to the care of the wardrobe I so treasure, neutrality is forced to take a backseat. I trust the extensive shoe and handbag collection that I've refined so meticulously to the care of only one establishment: Leather Spa on West 55th. No stain, scuff or material bruise is too grave to be treated by their expertise. I'd go nowhere else.
