There Will Be 21 Designers at Today's Handbag Collective Pop-Up

From 11am to 8pm today at Openhouse Gallery, Handbag Collective will be throwing a pop-up that will feature almost two dozen handbag designers, so if you were hankering to buy a bag today this might be the place to go. Host Emily Blumenthal began her career making handbags, and now works on projects like the site Handbag Designer 101 and the yearly Independent Handbag Designer Awards, which focuses on up-and-coming independent designers.

So for the collective, she's handpicked 21 designers to showcase their bags, the whole list of which can be seen here. And if you're looking to get schooled, there's also a seminar starting at 3pm led by Swarovski Elements and other groups to give pointers to budding brands.
