WEST VILLAGE AND PARK SLOPE—Venerable San Francisco-based hat shop Goorin is making a two-pronged assault on New York City, opening locations on Bleecker Street and Fifth Avenue in Park Slope. Recently Jeremiah's Vanishing New York got a glimpse inside the Manhattan space, and now Here's Park Slope reports that the Brooklyn outpost will soft-open tomorrow. [VNY; HPS]

LOWER EAST SIDE—Anybody can slap on some suspenders and pretend to be Teddy Roosevelt's bartender, but if you really want to capture that Old New York aesthetic, check out the Hester Street Fair tomorrow. Antiques stand American Collectables will be selling a vintage moonshine pot for $175 as well as two moonshine jugs to go with it. The still was probably hand-made by a Hudson Valley farmer in the 1920s, while the jugs could date back to the 1800s. [Racked Inbox]
