Next Thursday, August 25, is going to be a banner day for bargain shoppers in New York City. Not only does that date mark the launch of the Barneys Warehouse Sale, but it's also the start of Bird's annual end-of-summer housecleaning. Consider it a smaller, friendlier, altogether more Brooklyn take on the insanity that will be raging over at Barneys.
Merchandise runs 25% to 75% off, and specifics include Acne jeans for $99 (were $240), Rachel Comey oxfords for $79 (were $325), and men's Billy Reid sweaters for $59 (were $225.) At last year's sale, we even found PS1 bag at a marked-down price, which is about as common as spotting one swinging on the arm of Bigfoot. This time around, the sale runs from August 25th through the 28th at Bird Park Slope and online.
