Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
You know your one friend—the one with an impeccable eye for design and detail—whose closet (and let's face it entire apartment) you may desperately want to raid? Well, you should check out the new site Holly's Apartment instead. Holly's Apartment is actually a rotating online pop-up shop set up in the home of Upper West Side-based fashion veteran Holly Katz.
Katz has flawlessly displayed designer and vintage apparel, shoes, accessories and home décor in four areas of her lovely apartment: The den, the bedroom, the dresser and her envy-inducing terrace. We eyed a mix of Byblos, J. Crew, Barbour and a ton of Bottega Veneta. Every few months she will repaint and redecorate her abode to unveil a new, inspired theme. We're loving the Diana Vreeland-meets-Carrie Bradshaw (pre-movie) motif going on right now. The shop is open to browse today and to buy starting at 10am on Sunday, July 10. Is the apartment available, too?
