Storecasting

One more store opening: The Shophound reports that signage on the future Flatiron home of Brooks Brothers is announcing an autumn arrival. The new location for the brand will be known as the "Flatiron Shop" and is housed in the old Lord & Taylor building on the corner of Broadway and 20th Street. The plywood encasing the storefront features youthful, attractive and preppy-Americana models, likely hints for the competition that will soon challenge J. Crew and Banana Republic nearby on Fifth Avenue. [The Shophound]
