SOHO—VPL's Victoria Bartlett, along with stylist Polina Aronova, photographer Mitra Farahmand and erstwhile-headband-wearer/socialite Arden Wohl are emptying their closets of one-of-a-kind vintage and accessories to put up for sale at the upcoming Vintage Affair event. The sale promises droolworthy labels like Chanel, Alaïa, Prada and Jimmy Choo, plus—wait for it—Hermès bags. You've probably come across these girls in the party pages, so you can imagine what's on offer. Tao will also be offering merchandise to benefit the ongoing Japan crisis. THE INTERNET—TheGloss stopped by the Sixth Avenue T.J. Maxx and Marshall's this morning and was pleasantly surprised ("shocked") to find some hidden gems, like See by Chloé tops and Rag & Bone knits. They also learned a few tricks of the sale-reporting trade, like an iPhone camera is preferred for taking clandestine pics over an SLR.
